Hometown: Ellington, CT

Future Goal(s): Obtain a Master’s degree. Go on a cruise to Alaska. Work with children that are disabled.

Hobbies: Hanging out with friends, camping, sitting on the beach, photography.

Experience: Bethany is a recent graduate of University of Maine, Farmington majoring in Community Health. She has always wanted to help people of all ages and is a natural leader. She moved from CT to Nashville in January of 2017 to be a Counselor for Hope Homes and loves the work and the city.

Why I Work for Hope Homes: There are good days and bad days, but the good days are the fuel. Seeing someone graduate our program and moving out on their own is so exciting, for them and for me as their helper. More often than not they stay in touch, and it is so gratifying to see that they are doing well.
